Climate Change and Creative Expression (5/16/09)
The students in the Effie Kokrine “Climate Change and Creative Expression” class will give a performance of dance, images, and poetry from their semester-long Early College class. The class has connected 7-9th grade students with scientists to discuss aspects of Climate Change. The students have worked with dancers and a writer to develop tools of movement and writing to express what they learned in a final performance.
NOTE CHANGE: The performance will take place Saturday, May 16, 7pm, at the Empress Theater, home of Fairbanks Shakespeare Theater in Fairbanks.
